Why do I need it?
This firmware update is designed only for those systems alread
operating in Windows XP.It will flash the new Windows XP complian
firmware version to M100 for customers that have upgraded fro
Windows Me to Windows XP.

How do I get it?
Click on the 'Download Now' button on this page and store the fil
to a temporary directory on your hard drive you can locat
quickly.
What do I do with it?
In Windows Explorer, go to the directory your file has been store
and double click on it (samsung_fwupdate.exe). This will cause th
zipped fileto open the Unzip utility on screen. Click on Unzip an
open the files to a blank floppy diskette in the A: drive. Next
using Windows Explorer, go to the A: drive and doubl
sfdnw2k.exe.When the screen utility window opens
verify the correct drive (A:) is selected from the pull-down men
and click on the Open icon. Select the file 'M100.bin'.Next, clic
on the 'Down' icon and the firmware will be updated. When th
update is finished, remove the floppy from the A: drive and reboo
the PC. The update is complete.
